Articles, Seminars, Misc Events...
*I write for a variety of publications. Most of my articles center around fishing or other outdoor activities. If you have an idea for a story you'd like to see covered, please feel free to contact me. List of magazines I've written for can be found after the calendar of events.
I am available to present seminars at sport and trade shows, during group meetings or at special events. I offer PowerPoint Presentations for both fishing clubs and non-fishing groups (such as the Lion's Club). Topics can be discussed and assigned, however, my specialty lies in row trolling. Since it is my mission to get more women out on the water and outdoors, I also enjoy delving into how to make this happen. Rates vary depending on distance and venue. Please contact me to discuss specifics.

Embrace the Seasons! Wherever you live, take advantage of God's handiwork... We have so many wonderful outdoor activities to enjoy in our great country--year 'round. Hoar frost on pine trees
Winter wonders...snowshoe among white pines draped with snow, jig blue gills on frozen lakes, enjoy clear days and hanging icicles...OR, head to sunny climes (like I do) and fish in turquoise waters and hike green woodlands. It's all good! Find your passions and follow them.

Just another beautiful evening on the water
Summer Splendor...Topwater action during the magical twilight hour, hike in the coolness of a sphagnum bog, bicycle down an old country lane, enjoy the call of the loons.
Feisty Gray Squirrel (Photo by Dave Haardt)
Autumn Bliss...Row troll for lunker muskies on blustery days; enjoy migrating swans and geese flying overhead, soak in the resplendant colors of smoky golden tamaracks and cabernet oaks, and grab your dog and head for the woods.
Annual Row Trolling Tourney: The Bob Ellis Classic
This seventh annual "informal" row trolling tournament will be held in beautiful Presque Isle, Wisconsin on Saturday, June 5th. We fish the area lakes...there is no entry fee and no monetary prizes. Just a bunch of us diehard row trollers coming together to compare techniques and boats and enjoy our mutual passion. If you are interested in joining us, check out the row trolling page on this site for specifics... This is a wonderful event; full of camarderie, beautiful crafts, and interesting characters.
