Yes, I've heard all the blond jokes! I guess naming my guide service "A Blond and Her Boat" opened the flood gates. Luckily, I have a sense of humor.

One thing I'm quite serious about, however, is my passion for musky fishing.  Whether you are newcomer to this sport or already an avid hunter, I will provide you with an enjoyable day on the water.

New to 2007 is our "A Blond and Her Boat Group Fishing Trips. Working together with other fishing pros, we are offering all-women's, couples, and mixed group fishing trips to Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Canada. We've put together some unique trips...couples chasing muskies together, women's canoe & multi-species fishing trips, Musky Huntress trips, etc. Check out the complete itinerary and details on the Women on the Water page.

I also offer traditional guided casting packages out of my Crestliner Fishhawk.  This boat is completely rigged up and comfortable. However, my specialty lies in the sport of row trolling. This age old technique is a fantastic way to access suspended fish while getting a little exercise (yes, you row, too!). It is a wonderful (and warm) way to catch fat muskies in late fall. I have a sturdy 17' 3" fiberglass row trolling boat that is able to accommodate three people.

From opening day until ice up I guide only for muskies. We can fish on small or large lakes, for quantity or quality, in Vilas or Oneida counties - it's your choice. If you are looking to fish for other species, check out the WOW trips.

While guiding, TOTAL catch and release is strictly adhered to in my boat. I have a waterproof digital camera with a wireless remote control set up so we will be able to take nice photos of you and your fish.

Patricia Strutz, "A Blond and Her Boat", is a musky fishing zealot whose energy and enthusiasm for the sport is contagious. Her true passion is row trolling for 'skies in late fall.
